Helping Change the Face of Child Care in Georgia

We are a nonprofit organization with a 30-year history.

Our mission is simple: Ensure Georgia’s infants and young children are nurtured and educated when they are not in the care of their parents.

Today, nearly 400,000 of Georgia’s children under the age of six are in the care of someone other than their parents -- for as much as 10 hours a day. That number grows every year.

Unfortunately, the quality of care is inconsistent.

Quality Care for Children works to ensure children receive excellent care and early learning experiences by:

Finding Quality: Helping parents access quality, affordable care for their children.

Building Supply: Providing training and resources to child care providers to increase the overall quality of care.

Quality Care for Children is the single source of child care referrals for the state of Georgia through 1-877-ALL-GA-KIDS (1-877-255-4254) helpline and www.allgakids.org.
